General Features

The RANGER Combo helmet has been designed for industry, construction, forestry and oil drilling. The combo comes with innovative Crash-Box, IntegraSpec integrated eye protection (no excuses possible for not wearing Eye protection on the job site, slides back into the helmet shell when not required) ear plugs (3 pairs in a box), chin strap and ratchet system allowing the worker to adjust the headband without taking the helmet off the head. The highly innovative Crashbox is reducing impact energy at the helmet shell through a crumble zone (like a modern vehicle) absorbing a part of the impact energy while classic single wall helmets are forwarding almost all of the energy right to the harness.

  • PATENTED OVAL SHAPED SLOTS (30mm) For accessories such as hearing protection and visors. The patented shape of the slots makes them stronger than those on conventional helmets.
  • SLOT AT THE FRONT OF THE HELMET To affix an LED head light.
  • HELMET SHELL MATERIAL ABS/Polycarbonate blend with ultraviolet light blocking properties - makes the shell more resistant to sunlight and reduces ageing.

Ranger Protection Features

  • CRASHBOX The patented, double-walled impact absorption system increases the wearer’s safety as significantly less impact energy is transmitted to the head.
  • 6-POINT TEXTILE SUSPENSION HARNESS Spreads the force in the event of an impact and provides optimal fit and comfort by moulding to the wearer’s head.
  • 2 OR 4-POINT SELF-RELEASING CHIN-STRAP MOUNTSEnsures the release of the chin-strap when the limit of a pulling force is met to avoid strangulation.
  • INTEGRASPECIntegrated retractable eye protection - optional; can be pushed up into the helmet shell when not needed - Conforms to EN 166 - Eliminates the need to carry safety glasses.
